Privacy
When you fill out a form, USexit collects what you give us: your name, email, your state, and anything you choose to type in. We use it to reply to you and, with your permission, to connect you with others in your state who want the same thing.
A few things are collected automatically so the site works and stays free of abuse. When you visit, we store a coarse, one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself, to catch spam and abuse. If you follow a personal invite link, we log a small amount of technical detail about the click, stored only as a hashed browser signature and the host of the site that referred you. We do not track you across other websites.
We rely on a short list of service providers to run USexit, and your data reaches them only so they can do that work on our behalf:
- Coolify hosts the site and the database where your record is stored.
- Cloudflare Turnstile tells humans from bots on our forms.
- Mailgun delivers the email we send you.
- Google Analytics gives us aggregate traffic numbers, how many people visit and where they come from. It anonymizes IP addresses and does not identify you by name.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots. Loading it shares limited technical signals with Cloudflare and may set a token in your browser.
We don't sell your information. We don't hand it to anyone for their own use, and we don't share it beyond the providers named above and anyone you ask us to connect you with.
You can ask us to remove you at any time. Email the address below and we'll delete your record. You can unsubscribe from any message we send.
USexit is an educational and peer-support project stewarded by the Texas Nationalist Movement. Questions about your data: write to hello@usexit.org.
