One sentence, and the plan behind it.

You raised your hand. That is the hard part, and it is behind you. Now the work, and it is simpler than it looks. Your state has the right to govern itself. Most of your neighbors have never been asked the real question, and when they are, the numbers move fast. Asked the way a ballot actually asks, calm and binary and peaceful, support for leaving runs about 66 percent in Texas and about 58 percent in California, well above the raw poll. We show that work. The quiet support is already there. Your job is to find it, organize it, and give it somewhere to stand.

One thing today, before you read another word

Say this out loud: "The people of my state have the right to decide their own future, and I am helping them get organized to do it." Say it until it sounds natural, because you are going to say it a thousand times. That sentence is your whole job in one line.
